DukhNiwaran Kaur is a nationally certified massage therapist in practice since 1998 and a Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Teacher Trainer. She creatively works with patients using her experience and understanding of the mind-body connection. Her modalities include: massage therapy, energy work from the Kundalini Yoga tradition and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Kundalini Yoga and meditation, breathwork and Kundalini bodywork. She creates a calm and inviting environment for patients to explore their own relationship with their body, making room for the ambivalence that often accompanies this. With a BA in Psychology, she worked as counselor to domestic violence survivors and carried that work into her massage practice with trauma survivors and in her volunteer work at the Kovler Center for Survivors of Torture. In her role as a Sikh Minister, she advocates for the full integration of LGBTQIA+ members in Sikh Dharma and uses this advocacy to help empower LGBTQIA+ patients. She was trained at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, the Kundalini Research Institute and Marquette University.
